We have designed the Bhutan cultural tour package to provide a close glimpse of this country that has been embracing modernization, nature, and its ancient cultural heritage hand in hand.
This is one of the excellent Bhutan tour packages. You will explore famous cities like Paro, Thimphu, and Punakha and also travel to untouched, pristine places like Haa Valley, Trongsa, and Bumthang.
Guided by a local expert tour guide, the journey will provide you with a deep insight into Bhutanese culture, traditions, art, architecture, food, and daily life. Likewise, the tour is also naturally quite enriching.
Our representatives will welcome you at the Paro International Airport upon landing. Your flight will be lovely, offering stunning snow-capped mountain views.
Today, you will drive to Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan. You will drive from Haa Valley, passing by beautiful villages and pine forests. Stop at Dobji Dzong and follow Chuzom road to Thimphu. Spend a few hours freshening up and having lunch.
Later, visit the Royal Textile Museum, Folk Heritage Museum, and Tashichho Dzong. While visiting these museums, you will learn about Bhutanese textiles, weaves, musical instruments, household tools, and more.

You will spend this full day visiting different tourist sites in Thimphu. Start the tour by visiting the National Memorial Chorten, constructed by the third king of Bhutan. After he died in 1972, the royal queen's mother made this monument a memorial for him.
Leaving Thimphu, you will drive across the DochuLa Pass (3,088 m). You can see views of many mountains from the pass. Stop at Wangdue Phodrang town for lunch and continue driving to Trongsa.
Cross Pele La Pass (3,300 m) and stop at Chendbji Chorten en route to Trongsa. You will visit the Trongsa Dzong, built in 1648. The first and second kings of Bhutan ruled the country from this place.
Continue the tour from Trongsa to Bumthang. Bumthang is a heaven for hikers. Here, you will visit ancient monasteries like Tamshing Lhakhang, Kurje Lhakhang, and Jambay Lhakhang.
You will drive back to Punakha today. Leave Bumthang early after breakfast. It will be a long, scenic ride. You may visit a few tourist sites depending on your arrival time in Punakha. Explore the local market in the late evening.

While driving from Punakha to Paro, you will re-cross the DochuLa Pass. The mountain views are stunning along the way. Upon arriving in Paro, rest for a bit. Then, visit tourist sites like Rinpung Dzong, the district administration's seat, and the monastic school's residence.
Early in the morning, hike to Taktsang Monastery, also known as Tiger's Nest Monastery. It is a gradual uphill climb. During the hike, you can see superb views of waterfalls.
After this, you will visit the ruins of the 17th-century Drukgyel Dzong. You can see a stunning view of Mount Jomolhari (7,314 m) from here. Likewise, visit a 7th-century temple called Kyichu Lhakhang.
