Do you want to travel to Bhutan and learn about its culture and traditions? Are you looking for a less-than-one-week tour program that is easy and hassle-free? Then you are at the right place. This Bhutan heritage tour 6 days is the best short tour itinerary in the market. Not only that, but it is also one of the most affordable Bhutan tour packages.
Bhutan, the land of dragons, is one of the most exclusive countries in Asia. Traveling here is a privilege. Foreigners cannot independently enter the country for travel purposes. Their trip must be organized by a local Bhutanese travel agency, and they must travel with a local guide.
Strict rules like this have made Bhutan offer a high-grade travel experience and preserve its historical sites and nature. On the Bhutan heritage tour, you will visit many monuments and museums in Paro, Thimphu, and Punakha. The tour also offers you a glimpse of Bhutan's natural abundance.
Enjoy a spectacular flight to Paro. Upon landing at the Paro International Airport, our representatives will welcome you and drop you off at your hotel in Thimphu. As per your landing time, you may explore some tourist sites in Paro, like Ta Dzong Museum and Rinpung Dzong. Spend the remaining day in Thimphu acclimatizing and resting.
Start the day early with a delicious breakfast, then go on a guided sightseeing tour with your guide. Visit the National Memorial Chorten, built by the third king of Bhutan. Unfortunately, he died before the completion of the chorten, and the late queen's mother finished this monument in his memory.
In the morning, you will visit the Heritage Museum in Thimphu, which displays the rural Bhutanese artifacts. From here, you will visit the Textile Museum to learn about the art of traditional weaving. Then, travel to Thimphu Dzong, the office of the king of Bhutan.
Have a delicious breakfast and get ready to visit tourist sites in Punakha with your guide. Visit the Chimi Lhakhang Temple, the fertility temple. A short hike is required to reach the top of the temple. From here, you will visit the Punakha Dzong, the second-biggest dzong in Bhutan. It was built in the 17th century. The tour then continues to Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten.
Today is your last full day in Paro. Early in the morning, hike to Taktsang Monastery, also known as Tiger's Nest Monastery. It will take 2 hours of uphill climbing to reach the monastery. The view of the monastery and waterfalls during hiking is mind-blowing.
The short tour in Bhutan ends on this day. Our representatives will drop you off at the international airport for your next flight.
